The picture is a bit blurry, but here's what my husband discovered the other day when he left for work. It's our dog Maddie-- she's either trying to get the last few crumbs out of the giant dog-bone bucket, or training for the next space shuttle mission. We have no idea how much of the night she'd been this way, but he said that she looked very grateful when the make-shift helmet was removed.
[Note: No one was injured documenting this event, except maybe Maddie's ego, and I don't think she reads my blog.]

One step for dogs, one step for step for dog-kind!

Dogs are way too much fun. Love the dog astro. Remember the Jetsons?
That is so funny. I took my "green" bag to the grocery store. Opened it up....it was FULL of kitty hair. I dont know when the crazy cat crawled in there.lol Laurie
LOl, laugh? Cry? perhaps both. I'm glad she's okay, poor little cutie.
hahaha. Thanks for the morning laugh. That's exactly why I love dogs. They're more nerdy than me. Great photo!

OOOHHHH Poor Little Maddie, Tell her I am so sorry but that is pretty funny. Do you know how many times I have tried to get my head in a jar to lick up the last bit of something. Good thing she wasn't hurt. But a dog's ego, do they mend quickly??? He He!!

Sweet Maddie-just don't do it again! I bet she won't.
Very cute, very funny- glad she's OK. Reminds me of the time when my dog got the top of a wastebasket stuck around his middle- I don't know how long he was wearing that thing around like a skirt before we got home... Oh they are so amusing, aren't they?
Crack me up! I have a dog named Maddie, too- and I can imagine her doing the same thing- she's been known to get her collar hooked on bramble bushes too.
What a hoot! POOOOR Maddie!
I Love Love your Raggedy Ann painting!

Okay, don't tell Maddie...but I just showed our indoor pup, Nicholas, and he's rolling on the floor laughing!

Julie
