Hot Chocolate Weather in Georgia

It's been really cold and windy here in northeast Georgia; too cold to do much but stay in and drink lots of hot chocolate. Our school holidays are winding down and everything gets back to "normal" on Monday. I suppose normal is subjective, and I'm always a little sad when everyone has to return to the real world of work and school; but I am looking forward to getting back to creating.

Hi Cathy, ooh, sounds soo cold, keep wearm and snug with that yummy hot chocolate :) We can send over some sunshine, last week Melbourne had temperatures in the 40's C (around 100-104 F) for a few days in a row! We were melting down here!! Cooler today thank goodness :) Jenn and Jacqui

Happy New Year Cathy!

That hot chocolate sounds pretty good right about now! I think it is colder IN my house than it is outside!

Loved reading about your Christmas post about Friendly the cat and the tree ~ it gave me a chuckle, although I know it wasn't funny to you at the time! It reminded me of the scene in "A Christmas Story" where the hounds come tearing up the house over the turkey.

Maybe we'll get some more rain soon ~ I know North Georgia still needs it.

Hi, Cathy! It is so nice to meet another blogger from Georgia. I have not come across many people here from my neck of the woods:) So glad you stopped by to say "Hello." I have taken a little self-guided tour of your site and I love your work.

This weather is crazy, huh? We have gone from freezing to death to working outside today in just long sleeves. Oh, well! I'll enjoy every warm moment.

Hi Cathy,

I really don't comment here as often as I should. I am an avid reader of your blog, and I find much inspiration, humor and insight from your postings.

Here's to hot chocolate, with a little extra whipped cream on mine...cheers!

It's supposed to be in the 70's in our corner of Virginia today!

No one goes back to school here (we're unschoolers), and it could be a good day to read books and eat snacks in the treehouse!
